As I stood in line for Eppy’s lunch truck trying to decide on which of the many choices available would become my lunch, a lady in line chatted with her friend.

“Remember when this was like, the ONLY truck on this street?”

“Yeah, this one is the OG, and still one of my favorites,” her friend reminisced.

When I brought the chicken cutlet sandwich and fries back to my office (pictured here), one of my coworkers said almost the same thing.

“Eppy’s? I have been going there for years. It’s so good!”

The chicken cutlet sandwich featured 3 large pieces of breaded chicken, lettuce and mayo. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked and the fries were crispy and hot. I think the chicken sandwich could have probably used some kind of sauce on it, even mustard, but overall the sandwich was a winner. And it was only $4.00!IMG_4304

On my next trip to Eppy’s, I already knew what I wanted to get before I arrived. As I was waiting for my Chicken Cutlet sandwich, I noticed the Meatball Sub special, only $5.25 for a soda, chips, and a meatball parmesan sub.

This was my favorite of the two things I tried. Deliciously seasoned meatballs, smothered with marinara sauce, parmesan, and mozzarella, served on a french baguette. The sandwich alone was filling. Prices are great and the quality is excellent. I will definitely be back to try some of the other sandwiches!

For breakfast, I was informed that the yogurt parfaits with fresh fruit and granola are very tasty as well. Soups, salads, grilled cheese, and spaghetti options are all available as well.
