Things have been pretty busy around here for the last week, so this post is going to show some other things I’ve tried from trucks I previously reviewed in this blog: Chicken Heaven, “Sexy” Green Truck, E&E’s Gourmet Express, and the Creperie.
First up is in the photo above, the Chicken Rancher wrap from the Green Truck. It is featured on the lunch board to the left of the window. The chicken is breaded and comes wrapped in a toasted tortilla with lettuce, tomato, bacon, and ranch dressing.
I’ve been on a bit of a salad kick lately, so I decided to order the Greek Salad from Chicken Heaven. Then the guy asked if I wanted the grilled marinated chicken on top (which I have had before on the grilled chicken salad). What resulted was a huge mountainous salad with romaine lettuce, tomato, stuffed grape leaves, sliced hard-boiled egg, kalamata olives, crumbled feta, and cucumber, topped with chicken breast marinated in lemon and herbs.
Chicken Heaven also has this Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich, which I thought would be some sort of breaded chicken sandwich with maybe some spices added or a spicy sauce. Instead, I got this HUGE chicken sandwich on a bun, encrusted in cajun spices. It was a whole chicken breast. I could barely finish half of the sandwich, let alone the fries! It lived up to its name, being quite spicy as well.
I decided to try breakfast again at E&E’s Gourmet Express so I went simpler this time with a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. There must have been at least 3 eggs in this thing! It was super filling and the sausage was tasty.
It’s too bad that crepes don’t photograph well because this thing was an amazing treat from The Creperie. This is going to be my go-to when I need a sweet treat. You can’t really go wrong with this combination. Tart strawberries, nutty chocolate nutella, and sweet bananas come together perfectly. Do yourself a favor and just get one.
This isn’t new. It’s just so good I went back and got the gyro from Ernie’s Lunch Truck again. I got a better photo of the homemade meat patties that Ernie makes for this sandwich. I’ll be getting this meal a lot!
Well it’s now Spring Break, so most of the trucks are closed. I guess that means I won’t be posting for over a week. 😦 Have an awesome break, fellow Owls!
